Yes, I did shoot from a rest. I used a Caldwell Rock Junior and couple small Caldwell sand bags.

My rifle and target
This is my DPMS AR-10. It has an 18" bull barrel--.92" OD, a custom muzzle brake, a JARD single-stage adjustable trigger--currently set to 4-5 lbs., a NcSTAR 6-24x50 scope with a 30mm tube and turret 1/8 MOA adjustments, and a MAGPUL PSR adjustable stock. With a 10 round magazine, the weapon weighs 15 lbs.
